Prenatal Breastfeeding Education Session

In this 60-minute prenatal breastfeeding education session, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant will go through any and all questions that you have about breastfeeding before your baby is born. These prenatal education sessions are available World-Wide and will be performed online by Video.

Many expecting parents reach out ahead of time wanting some education and guidance before their baby comes. Whether you have had a rocky start to breastfeeding before, have a health condition that may impact your breastfeeding relationship, or want to become as prepared as possible, we can book you in for an hour-long session to discuss your needs.

Topics of discussion during our prenatal breastfeeding education session may include:

• Normal infant behaviour and hunger cues
• How to know if your baby is drinking well & getting enough breast milk
• Positioning and latching techniques to reduce nipple pain
• Common breastfeeding problems and solutions
• What to do if your baby won't latch
• How to know when you need extra help
• Adding in pumping & bottles as needed/wanted
• Foods to avoid
• Use of foods and herbs to increase your supply
