My in-laws bought our daughter a tablet when she was three. At the time I had thought it was kind of ridiculous, but they figured that it would give her more options and be less expensive than a Leap Pad. It was a very kind gesture, and it has come in handy on more than one occasion. However, being the frugal (AKA cheap) mom that I am, I had zero interest in paying for children’s games when there is a free version. I always worried that she wouldn’t enjoy the paid version and that I would have paid something for nothing.
It’s so hard to figure out which games are worth the money.
When KidloLand contacted me to review their children’s app, I made it very clear that if my children (one and a half and four) did not enjoy their app, I would be returning their product and they would release me from writing about it. I only want to write about topics that will help my readers.
Well, I was very hesitant, but my children were not!
They loved the KidloLand App from the very beginning. Once uploaded, my four year old daughter immediately started singing along with the nursery rhymes. She is usually quite shy about singing, so hearing her sing along for once literally brought tears to my eyes. She was so proud of herself, and she sang so beautifully.
Normally, she gets frustrated at the free versions because pop-up ads come up and she doesn’t know how to close them herself. With the full version of the KidloLand app, there were no signs of frustration or tugs on my sleeve – just pure enjoyment from an educational resource and some well-deserved quiet time for mommy.
The night that we first tried out the KidloLand App, my one and a half year old son had spiked a temperature and started breathing really fast. He was very inconsolable, but when we laid him beside his sister who was singing along to the KidloLand App, he was quiet. He listened, and pressed on the interactive screen and watched as planes flew and stars twinkled under his touch. That was when I knew that this App would help other parent’s out there.
The next day, I had to take my kids to the Nurse Practitioner for my son to get assessed. As parent’s, we all know how stressful doctor’s visits can be. I brought along my daughter’s tablet, and I was very happy that I did. My daughter sat quietly playing with the Kidloland app while I was able to give my full attention to my son. He ended up having pneumonia for the third time in his short life. Normally, not much keeps my daughter’s attention for much longer than a couple minutes, especially in a doctor’s office where there are so many interesting things to touch. But she was immersed in her game.

When you buy the full version of the Kidloland app, your child will have access to 300+ interactive nursery rhymes, songs and educational activities. It is recommended for all kids under the age of five, so you can be rest assured that all of your young children will love this App. There is almost a three year age gap between my kids, and they both love this App equally but in different ways.
Tip: Once you have KidloLand, you will need to download the content before your child can play them. I would highly recommend taking the time to do so before your child gets their hands on it and to do so while you are at home or have access to free WiFi. Once the games and songs are downloaded, your child will be able to access them anywhere.
If you would like to try out the KidloLand App, we are giving away five free three month subscriptions! Just click the link below to enter!
